    League setup and seasons

Create your league, configure how players get in, and decide whether seasons and roster priority windows are part of the model you want to run.

This is where you define visibility, join behavior, and season structure.•Guide step 2 of 7
    Create a league
    Back to organizer guideAll guides

    Create your league
    • Pick your sport, skill levels, and league type.
    • Set visibility (public or private).
    • Add a location so players know how near or far away you are.
    • Upload a banner to make your league recognizable.
    Visibility
Public leagues appear in search. Private leagues use invites or invite links, but those invite links can still require approval depending on your join settings.
    Invite and manage players
    • Invite players directly or share an invite link.
    • Review join requests in the Admin dashboard.
    • Use strikes and ratings to keep standards clear.
    Moderators
Add moderators if you want help with events, RSVPs, or roster management.
    Set up seasons

Seasons help you organize recurring play over a date range. Instead of paying per event, players typically pay once for the season, and you can use a season roster to control who gets first access to spots.

    • Create a season with start/end dates.
    • Invite players to the season roster.
    • Set a season cost so players know they are paying for a block of time, not individual events.
    • Tie events to a season so roster players are treated as the default group for those spots.
    • Use season status (upcoming, active, archived) to stay organized.
    Priority windows
When RSVPs open for a season event, season roster players get the first RSVP window. After that, you can open remaining spots to other league members who are not on the season roster, and finally to subs via sub requests if you still need players.
