    Sub requests

Create, review, and close player fill-in requests with clear expectations about who is needed, how approvals work, and when this flow does not apply.

Use this when a team needs a fill-in or when you want to help cover an open spot.•Guide step 5 of 5

    Create a sub request
    • Go to the Sub Requests page and tap “Create Sub Request”.
    • Pick the sport, date/time, and location.
    • Set the slot requirements (male/female, position, skill level).
    • Add a short note with key details players should know.
    Be specific
Mention arrival time, gear, or venue details so players can decide quickly.
    When not to use this
Business drop-ins do not use sub requests. If you are looking for public business-league drop-in spots, use the drop-ins flow instead of expecting a sub request.
    Review responses
    • Open your request to see interested players.
    • Approve the player who fits best.
    • Keep your request updated so players know if the spot is still open.
    Informed Community
Subs can be rated after games so future organizers have better context.
    After approval

When you approve a player, the request is updated so everyone can see the slot is filled.

    • Notify the approved player about arrival details.
    • Close the request once it’s filled.
    • Withdraw the request if plans change.
