Runnit is a sports social network. It helps you connect with local groups and play your favourite sports.
Getting Started: Players
A screenshot walkthrough for players: find leagues, handle invites, RSVP, join waitlists, respond to sub requests, and tune notifications.
Installing Runnit on your home screen makes it feel like a real app and helps you get push notifications (event invites, reminders, and updates).
Use Sports settings to indicate what you play and how you want to participate. These preferences help Runnit show you more relevant leagues, invites, and sub requests.
The Dashboard mirrors what you see in the app: invites, upcoming events, your leagues, and recent announcements in one place.
- Invites card: league, season, event, and sub request invites.
- Upcoming Events table with RSVP status and payment actions.
- My Leagues list with next event reminders.
- Recent Announcements with polls and replies.
Start by browsing public leagues near you for your sport. Join leagues that match your schedule and level. Join private leagues directly with an invite link.
RSVP to let the organizer know you’re in (or out). If a game is full, join the waitlist so you can grab an opening when one appears.
Sub requests are how players connect. They can be tied to group events, or you can create one to find someone who can fill in for a missing teammate. You can specify male or female, skill level, and position needed so players know if they’re a good fit.
Turn on the notifications that help you show up on time: invites, reminders, event updates, and spot-opening alerts.
Some leagues charge for events or seasons. If payment is required, Runnit shows what’s owed and tracks paid status. You can pay when invited, and in some leagues you may also see Event Pass options and payment history in Wallet.
You control what information is visible to others. Keep your profile community-friendly and share contact details only when you want to.
- Join a league (or a few) that matches your schedule.
- RSVP early, whether attending or not.
- Use sub requests to fill in or find players.
- Enable reminders so you don’t miss updates or opportunities to play.
